Re: Prices for our cars
Sorry for resurrecting a five-year-old thread… I just bought a 2004 Limited automatic with 36,000 miles for $4200. Not sure if this is rock bottom but as a buyer I am thankful for the low prices and I expect Well kept low mileage examples to appreciate in value eventually. 76,000 units over five years doesn’t seem like too many to me and I think a lot of them have gone to the crusher already. I also have a 1967 Ford Mustang CoupE and I think they made almost 475,000 mustangs for that year. In the 1980s they weren’t worth very much at all but nowadays nice examples of C code cops are going for over $30,000 regularly. Our cross fires are a great deal more rare and they were only made for a short period of time. I have no intention of ever selling my crossfire and I might like to buy another one or two in the future so I’m not too concerned about prices but I think this is one of the best looking cars made since the 1967 Mustang fastback and I believe the world will come to appreciate them as they become more scarce.
