Default Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?

1. Brought it home on a trailer from place of purchase 110 miles away. 2. Unloaded and took it for a test drive/ride. 3. Did a 180 and burned the tires… Saw a mouse crawl out from the driver side a pillar onto the dash and then scurry back. 4. discovered the rearview mirror was missing and several small miscellaneous broken pieces from the interior will need to be replaced. 5. Determined the car had previously been crashed. Looks like a light front right hit. Headlight was replaced intake tube was crunched and there was some overspray on the wheel from a poor masking job. Title is clean.
it’s kind of hard/frustrating to buy a used car as a blind person and my wife neglected to pay attention and point out details such as the lack of a mirror. Oh well, still feel good about what we paid for a 36,000 mile car.
6. transfer the title and got custom plate. ROGUE I was not available. Went with ROUGe 1 instead. The car is a red 2004 limited coupe. Probably only 5% of people who see it will understand and the rest will think we are stupid and misspelled rogue.
7. Discovered that the $10 flat tax for vehicles 10 years or older in Minnesota only applies to vehicles under $3000. Paid $273 in taxes.
