Default Re: Convertible top

I bought it from a company in Wales named BAS. I told them I belonged to this group and they gave me a discount. The complete cost including the shipping was about $650.00. That's about half of any of the other places. They custom make the tops by order. It took about a month to get it. They have a website but I called them to make sure I the information was correct. If you call them check with your phone provider on the cost of the call. It cost me $30 to call them. You will need to check the time differance so you don't waste a call. The glass problem is a factory defect and was on the recall list. But for it to qualify for the recall you have to live in one of the States on the list. I live in Delaware and we are not on the list. The window from BAS has a lifetime warranty for the glass adhesion. The material is what she called mohair canvas which is the original material. I'm pleased with it. I did not install it myself. I shopped around and most people wanted $1,500 just to install it. I found a shop that did it for $500.
