The paint on both my graphites is excellent, but they have lead a garaged and covered life. My son's 2007 XF spent four years in Tallahassee FL, frequently in a sunny parking lot, and there is evidence of peel or deterioration of the paint along the groves in the roof. That FL sun can kill any paint. Like any car, if properly prepared and painted, it will look good as new.
