I have an 04 crossfire and have ran into a bit of a head scratcher. My central locking pump got wet in a story I will not bore you with but here is my question and curiosity. I know our part number is 170 800 08 48 and I know it's the same pump as the SLK like most parts but I read a thread stating that the CLK pump with the 2108002648 part number has the same wire connector slots but to many vacuum slots. Our cars only have the three spots as the CLK has a couple extra. This may be stupid but if you plugged the other slots would the CLK pump work in theory? Reason I ask is I'm getting the abs/ bas-esp light on the dash and the spoiler goes up when you start to drive. I ask because you can get a CLK pump for a 1/4 the price as one for the crossfire or the SLK.
