I did not write them down but I dont see anything close to that on the DTC list. Never heard of this before, do you think its just low or something major. I lowballed him early this morning hoping they had some bills needing paid.

It sounds like the car is going into "limp" mode after the trans gets warm . I will drive it on Tuesday and was hoping someone would chime in saying its Low. I really thought I would remember the codes since there was only the two but that did not work out well. I have my chart and the dipstick so I will check the trans fluid cold and hot. I think it also has RCM issues that they are saying is a bad alternator. We shall see. It is a Yellow Roadster , Auto . paints bad, top is ripped and 2 rims are chrome OEM, the other two are not.
Just the other day I was checking fluid levels on my Limited. I found that the low temperature range is not reliable. The upper marking when the car transmission was warmed to 80C was right at the mark for that temperature. I used a scan tool to get the temp of the transmission fluid and also found large temperature differences depending if the car was in Park or in 2 or third gear. I was working by myself so while using the dipstick I had the car in Park. My car has no transmission problems. I made the measurements to satisfy my curiosity in the event I may need the info sometime later down the road.
