If it would help, download the service manual from here, do a little research there then search a few posts about the trans plate or shifter. If these things are not within your capability, an independent European shop might be able to help you once you have an idea what is wrong (by doing the steps above ie service manual and perusing the posts about the trans and shifter). That would be my starting point, but it may not be everyones thing to try to fix themselves. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I bought all the service books when I purchased the car. I did not know I would need a truck to carry them around. I have tried looking things up, but that stuff is
way beyond me. Its been doing this for 4 or 5 years. I had Trans. leak and repaired . They found nothing either. I will read posts from Forum and discuss findings with dealer. I cannot
work on this car. I know of a garage In State College, Pa. that works on high end sports cars, for high end prices. I will have to save up and take it there. Thanks again. XFire Mike.
