Funny you ask, I've had two opportunities to take a closer look at the Enzo. 1st one was at a car show that was about 4 miles from my house. I knew it was there but didn't care so I didn't go. And the 2nd was just a week ago at StarBucks at Vanderbilt Plaza. It was parked on the other side of the parking lot. No I didn't go look at that one either. I just don't care for them, but grant you I did glance that way and say to myself huh, you don't see that everyday.
Now as far as the elise goes. I enjoy driving small cars. I don't care for the Viper I think it's too long and I don't care for the Vette, I think it's to Wide this is probably the same reason I don't care for Ferrari or Lamborghini. I really enjoy driving small mid engine cars and the MR2 spider was considered when I bought the Crossfire. The elise wasn't out yet. I have driven the Cayman and before that I thought the 911 was bad ***. Hmph... who would've thought moving the engine in front of the rear axle would have improved it that much. We obviously have two different opinions of what is cool. You like going straight, big motors, and long hoods. I prefer small motors, less weight, and turning.
