Having been caught out by 'launch' models before, I have opted to wait
and have put my name down for the SRT-6 in the UK for an estimated
early 2005 delivery.
It is very hard knowing the car is a year away at the moment, but I
personally feel it's better to let the dust settle and for teething troubles
to be sorted.
I do still have a concern over the box being auto on the SRT-6, but will
give it the benefit of doubt until I can test drive a pre release model.
If it's not all it should be, I'll revert to the Coupe and 'tweak it'
I hope to do the back to back manual / auto test drives in the next couple
of weeks as no dealer close to me can currently offer both, so I have that
to look forward to.
I too would like to see SatNav etc included, I feel it should be standard in
all cars over a certain value as it adds to road safety in my view.
Although we have this wonderful site to visit, the UK market will open
up many different areas for Crossfire ownership, meetings, reviews etc etc
so without wishing to detract from Crossfire Forum.org, you may care to
visit my work in progress aimed at helping those potential and current UK owners.
There is only a taste of things to come there at the moment, but I hope people
will enjoy it and contribute to it's development.
