Re: Looking for PCM
You know not what you ask! You are headed to major trouble if you insist on getting a Powertrain Control Module before finding the root cause of your no start issue. A PCM must be programed after installation to sync with the anti theft system. 95% of Chrysler Dealers can not do that because their new diagnostic tool is not fully compatible with the old system. You are just asking for trouble and major expenses.
I strongly suggest you get your car diagnosed at an independent garage that specialize in European cars. You really need to get it scanned by digging into the Mercedes codes. Remember that your Crossfire is a Mercedes SLK 320 with an outer skin by Chrysler design.
Have you tested the starting circuit? Have you checked all the engine grounds? Have you checked any fuses? Those are all simple things that you can do. So much more to a non start issue than going for the PCM. In the other thread you are talking about replacing the engine. WHAT the !!!!. You really know not what you ask! You need help and your best bet is to get your car to an independent garage that knows how to work on Mercedes automobiles. Wish we could help more but there is so much being lost in the lack of understanding as to meaning of words in reference to this car. Good luck.
