If you want to be sure everything's good you might want to change your thermostat and flush and replace the coolant especially if it's original . Most vehicles that are + 15 years old probably needs all the fluids change . It's not a waste of money but required service. There is also a products to add to your coolant one is called wetter water which lowers your operating temp maybe 10%. If you have a auto lower temps are better.
