Before you wast money ,,here is what u should see,,,,,,, normal or hottest it should be ,is one needle width above the half mark. the fan will or should turn on when needed when AC is on fan is needed. the fan runs at different speeds u may only notice the fan at high speed because at high speed it is noisy ,
