Re: Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
I think i posted this before but i guess some did not read it in 2010 i too went to Hankook Ventus V12 evo tires and had a few sets after that over the years never though much about the hydroplaning , just though it was because of the wide tires ,,more hydroplaning in 2016 2017 2018 yes i was driving in heavy rain and my crossfire was hydroplaning as soon as i got above 45 mph,,checked the air pressure right on 34 psi two lbs low. over the years i blamed the wide tires and the car.,,, then in 2019 i was driving my C320 wagon with hankooks ventus v12's on it when 55 mph the wagon took off where ever it wanted . then it hit me it is not thr rain the car it is the tires I went to the shop took the hankooks off the crossfire and the wagon i have not had a single hydroplaning act sence,, on either car,, we have heavy rain in south florida from Nov. to end of Jully sometimes you can drive around it ,if there is a road to do so. otherwise drive in it. for me it will be without hankooks. jim
