Do you have the owners manual, it shows what fuse does what.
Also the connection between the door lock and the switch that operates the car locking system may be missing, did it work before.
The fuse for the radio signal receiver from the fob is #35 (?) on the ‘04s it also controls the tire pressure system and others but as you have not mentioned them I doubt that is the problem.
