Yes I did find out the exact location of my whining noise and it ended up being the alternator bearings. So I had to replace it and did however replace the belt tensioner pulley and idler pulley first to rule them out. Both had significant wear so it was only a matter of time. The lower alternator bearing bolt was a pain to align so that was the only issue I had replacing that componant. Hope you were able to find your issue and fix it. It helps to have another person listen to all the pulley areas to narrow it down. Good luck!
