That will not work in this problem. Most auto parts stores can only read OBD II codes, they do not have the scanner necessary to get into the Mercedes specific codes. The root problems which are causing the ABS and ESP lights to go on will come from TCM, CAB and related systems/parts. Those codes must be read and cleared by a scanner which reads Mercedes codes. For some codes there is a specific sequence which must be followed to clear the codes. Simply hitting the clear button on a scanner will not do the trick.
