The drivers door is on its own pneumatic circuit on the security module in the trunk. Check that air is moving in this line by listening I the trunk withe mat removed. Check for water in the well that the pump sits in, maybe the connector is corroded.
If there is water you can expect more trouble.
The yellow air line could be broken in the corrugated hose between the door and the chassis, listen for hisses in this area. This has happened before, just add a urethane hose over the break. You want the urethane to flex not the yellow hose. This also happens on the tailgate of coupes. It is less likely to happen on the passenger door because of less use.
