Crankshaft sensor: Car will die randomly at red lights or stop sign. Then you will be able to restart it immediately or have to wait until it cools down. A check engine light sometimes will come on and store a code.
Camshaft sensor: Car will crank and crank and not start or crank for a while then start. Usually a check engine light will come on and code will be stored.
