I was cleaning out an old tool chest cabinet that I was replacing and found the same part in the back of a drawer. I forgot I pulled it out of the area under the windshield cowl on my 04 around 10 years ago.

No Crossfire collection of stuff is complete without having one of these mystery parts. I personally think it is related to protecting a part while carrying and holding it for assembling.
