I'll take a physical look at the CLP/SSM, but living in Vegas, the only way it would have water damage is from the car wash.
People have wrecked the board in the fob when prying the two halves apart.
It is an expensive boo boo these days, maybe you can take it apart and see if there is any damage that is repairable.
