Yes, that is definitely a Mercedes star, but the number is starting with 193, which is not a MB model range. As we all know 193 is a Crossfire specific part. Have also reseached for other better photos, and it seems to be 193.

We've checked if it's maybe a 163 part (W163), but the dimensions are different.

Also did some research on the development and for shure there are some Crossfire specific parts on rear axle that are not borrowed from some other Mercedes models.

Looking into it more I have to agree it is a 193 number, the question is why when there is bucketful of parts that could have been used.
