Also by changing the pulleys does it affect the engine in anyway as a daily driver. Im an old guy just looking for some more power passing cars on the highway and when I take off.
Thanks
You're about 13 years late on your post lol. Adding the Needswings DCAI you’re looking at around 25-30 hp. You won’t need a tune for that. When you start going into swapping pulleys is when you’ll need to worry about that. Our stock Supercharger pulley is 74mm and it seems to me the most common size used is between 65-69mm. There’s guys that have put 59 and 61mm pulleys but you’re pushing the motor hard and would really want to make sure you have supporting mods as far as cooling and fuel needs. That’s where things start to get expensive and IMHO I don’t think going that low is worth it. I’ve had mine going 7 years now and love the M112K engine but lately I’ve been contemplating on swapping in an M113K which is basically the V8 big brother to our engines with a bigger supercharger as well.
There’s all kinds of options to be honest. Maybe start a new post introduce yourself and you’ll probably get more input that way. If you’ve already done that disregard what I just said 😂
