I agree with this statement 1000%. I always hear the recirculating ball steering narrative thrown towards the XF. They never mention that the E39 M5 one of the nicest driving cars I've ever driven has a recirculating ball steering system as well. I think certain car "journalists" just wanted to hate on the XF and just piled on whatever they could. Is it the greatest driving car in the world? No but it sure as hell isn't some sloshy tractor as some articles have suggested. I've driven a lot of sports cars in the high end, middle and basic groups and there are a lot of cars that good these amazing grades for steering and handling that I just don't see it myself. I guess to each their own.
