Document EVERYTHING, if the shop broke it they should be given the chance to fix it. If they either refuse or you feel they would not do better, then make sure you send them a registered return receipt letter before you take it to someone else (AND most importantly, the shop you take it to must document they are troubleshooting/fixing another shops screwup). Without that on your invoice at the next shop, there isn't a small claims court that will help (except to spend your $ you paid to file). Just my honest opinion!
