The washer bottle (I believe) holds 1 gallon before it comes out the 'overflow' (much to the chagrin of us owners because it is completely hidden and wasteful). Pour a distinct amount of rubbing alcohol into the fill point and see if what runs out has that odor. You'll then might be about 99.999999999% certain you found your 'leak'. Whether or not your bottle is 'cracked' depends on if someone overfilled before your investigation OR your bottle developed a leak. Good luck (because it is a BEAR to replace if cracked/leaking, depending what and where)!
