Thanks for the info and link. There was no washer fluid coming out after I found all the stuff on the driveway but I could hear the pump. After I put washer fluid in the reservoir (even after it looked like all of it leaked out behind the tire), the washer fluid pump worked on the windshield. However, you are right, the low level indicator never came on.
