There is no "Bypass", you must replace the CLP-SSM as well as any corroded parts of the wiring harness. I and others have dealt with this time and again. You need the CLP-SSM as well as last 2-3 feet of wiring harness from another Roadster to get this all working. There is no other option.
That's unfortunate. Thanks for the information!
(Though I'm curious, if it affects wing operation how come mine still functions? Am I just lucky?)
