That was my point, too many answers here are not based on fact and the suggested solutions lead to the spending of hard earned wages on something that does not solve the problem. It's pretty painless to spend someone else’s money.
Likewise the question on the halo ring, it is loose so why buy another before the cause is researched.
Many answers on this forum are really no more than adverts for the services of some members. Is that idleness or the search for brownie points? I do not think I have ever suggested people spend money on the hope that it will solve the problem, the dealers do that and it gets expensive.
One members consistent answer to many questions was to do a throttle reset, I have only done one throttle reset and that was some 15 years ago just to see what the result was, not much if I recall.
