Default Re: Where to buy Driver side catalyst converter -- ISSUES

Essentially I brought in my car cause it's been leaking oil. They said they had to reseal the gasket and it made sense cause oil had been slowly dripping down the gasket/engine area for a while and it go to the point where it needed to be addressed.

When I picked up car they said my left catalyc converter was essentially falling sort/disintegrating.

I took the car home and since it's been to the shop it's slow to respond, at the light will start idling and when you accelerate in the low RPMs it will hesitate and feels like car shuts off, then it finally starts to accelerate in a sudden burst.

Like I mentioned, I never noticed these signs before bodyshop worked on the car but they have been awesome to me in the past and treat me very good so I take their word for it that this might actually be the catalyc converter breaking? Any ideas if it could be something else causing the symptoms?
