My warm up period is a slow ride through the neighborhood to get to the highway. I ALWAYS let it warm up sitting still for a good full minute before going into gear on all of my automobiles. The klunk doesn't seem to be getting louder or more intense, so , although it concerns me, it doesn't worry me.
