Put OBII scanner on it. It says their are no codes. Which is strange because engine light has been on since I removed the 40amp fuse this summer.

This is a 2005 SRT. 42k miles. It sounds like it is starting with that nice pleasant ruum, then dies. Half tank of gas in it.

Edit: another piece of info. A couple of weeks ago brother in law was driving and said a couple of times he couldn't get the key to turn. Then somehow it would, without forcing it. When I was just trying to get this going the last couple of days, it happened to me as well, couldn't turn. Wasn't sure if it was a particular set of keys, and it was before I replaced the batteries in the fobs.
Anyway, could this ignition issue of not being able to turn (which I have read about here further, with a pdf etc.) have something to do with the problem I having now where it seems to start, but then just dies?
