Have a nice 2009 Mercedes SLK that I did some work on for circuit racing but now I'm thinking of a more dedicated circuit car project so a Crossfire is a possibility although the Merc is a keeper.. In my country it's all about what's available rather than exactly what I'd like. Covid here has given some sellers delusions of value if you get what I mean. A Crossfire coupe with it's solid roof should be stiffer than a R170 Merc so that's a plus. Meanwhile I'll just browse here and maybe make a comment or ask a question.
One thing I would want to do is replace the recirculating ball steering with a rack and pinion but I'm guessing that stuff may be in the way. As it tends to do.
