I'm running out of ideas. Can it be glued in? Velcroe'd in or does someone know where I can actually find clips that snap this darn thing in place?

They are a little tricky to install. Yes it is probably the white clips but there are other places the panels attach to, no you will not find any that fit at Autozone. The aftermarket ones are cheap but will break easily unless you have them perfectly center when trying to install, some have suggested using vaseline but that doesn't really work either. In my experience it is worth buying the genuine ones from Chrysler part number 68006504AA or Mercedes part number 0119887678 and they can be reused most of the time if you have to remove the panels and reinstall them.
