Deapsea21, you mentioned in your OP that the strips on the roof were removed for repainting and then mentioned later in that the one looked like it was 'up' some. Is it possible there is a hole in the roof metal in the valley (maybe from rust)? How hard would it be to remove and inspect that location where the strip is at for rust/hole/damage? Oh, check this if sealing with the grease doesn't stop the leak (or if you remember any bare metal when you painted them maybe check it now before you seal?).

Body shop did it. I don't know how to remove those strips on the roof but I might do that first before sealing it. How do they come out? I don't want to break them. Thanks for your help!
