Don't get me wrong, it is possible to change your cluster, it's just not easy. If you want to change it, I'm sure Josh Chase (at the Mercedes Swap Shop) could do it for you. I know Josh and could tell him where to get the display from, and I'm sure he knows which codes to change. There's actually three displays that will fit, one has "km", one has "miles" and the last one has nothing. You could also find a good metric cluster and ask Josh to set the milage to the same as your existing unit.

BTW. For those that are interested. It's also possible to code any cluster for a 200mph/320kmh speedo range, but you'd have to get a different decal to go with it.
