You can't transfer the powertrain warranty if you are the third owner or if the previous owner was a corporation (fleet vehicle). I hope you meet these two conditions. I'm planning on buying my used car tonight so I called up the Chrysler dealership and spoke to a gentleman in their service department who looked up the VIN and let me know that my future car will allow me to transfer the warranty.

If you just bought the car, batmbl, I suggest you head over to the dealership PRONTO and get that warranty transferred. You have 30 days to do so.
