perhaps a simple solution may be when you reach a destination, to open the hood until it cools off. and if the sun hits it, place something as a spacer and close the hood partially.
Using your findings we may conclude that if we were to place a Crossfire engine in place of our house furnaces we could heat the house with the heat coming from the running engine and then turn the engine off and have the non running engine give of more heat.
I think you have saved the planet by cutting down the use of fossil fuels.🙄
