Now . . . imagine an huge Wally mart parking full of car with all their hood open on an hot 30 C.+ afternoon or on all the parking along streets of big Citys

Hot or warm engine consume less gaz when restarted so . . . less gaz equal less polution,less harder on Battery, on Starter and a lot more less on many things.

May be You should get the hood off completely on your car and leave it at home if You think it will be better for the engine but do not toutch engine manifold because they will still get hot .
