My car, a 2005 had 39,500 miles on it when the TPMS died two years ago now (2020).

I would like to get my hands on a pair of dead sensors and try and remove the potting, replace the battery, repot it and reset it.
I would pay for the postage and a small payment for a basic piece of scrap. I want them from a Crossfire, I could go to a tire store .I guess but they will not have a Crossfire part and may not want me to give me one or two if they asked why I wanted them. I do not want to remove my tires to get mine and then add extra weights to rebalance the wheel.
Dave, I have a sensor for you. I'll bring it next time I see you. Btw, years ago I read a tutorial on the Corvette forum about replacing the sensor batteries, I thought about trying it but never did. Here's a youtube video: https://www.google.com/search?q=repl...nxtAaVlbW4Dw21
