Paint ages and changes over time.
The paint code will be correct but it can’t factor in time. Best to get a sample first or compare the paint fan to your car.

I discovered this when painting parts Alabaster White. Paint was OEM and correct code but it was brighter than the colour on the car. It’s gets better, I wasn’t smart enough to learn it the first time so I followed the code a second time. Both are the same white but different from the 15 year old car.
