Honestly if you have to remove it to the replace the o ring, I'd just replace it. Look at the age of the car, that sensor will likely be acting up sooner than later. Why do all that work again? When it starts flashing on and off and acting janky, your gonna be paranoid wondering if your low on oil or not. Thats just me.
