Totally agree. Alot of it is the satisfaction, the fact YOU did that, restoring a vehicle back to it's glory. The challenge of the rebuild, sourcing components, each part one step closer to completion, plus learn a few things along the way...
Have owned a few motorbikes, that I did alot too. Granted, never got my money back on what was put into them - but it was worth it !
