Have you ever accidently nudged the gear lever into "D-" or "D+"? If you're like me that meant you were forced to either shift manually for the rest of your current drive or (much more likely!) bring the car to a complete stop, shut it off & start it again; all simply to make your automatic, "automatic" again.

Press and HOLD the gear lever in "D+". The transmission will shift to gear "D".
