The next time my financial advisor says 'I can afford' combusting a bit of premium I'll give the trans a thorough test. I knew about the continued automatic shifting within a few hundred RPM of redline & to avoid lugging the engine, but "holding" it in "D+" was the only thing which worked 100% to force it back into normal automatic mode, for me anyway. Now that I know that works, I'm comfortable testing out "other" possibilities.
