Well I tried separating the subs from the front speakers by connecting audio L & audio R out RCA plugs to the amp. which resulted in very low volumes from the radio app and acceptable volumes from the USB local music app. I've gone back to how I had originally wired the speakers through the HU connector and can live with that until I get a better android HU. I have painted Onehundred80's Mk1 design 2 din console trim and installed with 60w usb charger in place of cigar lighter. I have done Pizzaguys lighter mod to allow for constant power that is switchable at the USB charger. This way I can keep my dash cam on while out of the car if needed.
