Last time I looked at a list of US Manufacturers of Automotive Batteries (lead acid type), I found the following:

1) Johnson Controls / Milwaukee, WI
2) Exide Technologies / Alpharetta, GA
3) Continental Batteries / Dallas, TX
4) East Penn Manufacturing / Lyon Station, PA
