Default Preventing Chrysler emblems from fading

Hi!

I am wondering what the best way is to prevent the front and rear emblems from fading? My Limited has both badges faded so the gold is gone. Still looks nice but on my new SRT6 the owner kept the car in the garage and front and rear emblems look like new...so fresh....so nice..

Florida heat can do a number on the badges so are there any solutions to that problem?
Here's what I'm thinking....when people polish their headlights I've seen detail shops apply a few coats of clear coat onto the headlight to protect them from UV rays. I don't know if that's a special kind of clear coat with some kind of UV filter or just regular old clear coat. But wondering if that would be a solution...
I just did a Google search and found 3M clear coat wipes with UV filter for polished headlights. I guess they are wipes so that sounds like it's easier to apply then clear coat spray but not sure how one would avoid streaking..

What is everyone's thoughts?

Nick
