These cars are a great value for someone that is savvy enough to do basic work on the cars they drive. On my SLK I saw where a shop charged the previous owner 495.00 to replace a Crank Position Sensor, now that is insane. Sad part is she had been taking the car to them for years. The shops name was EuroTrash something in south Nashville. Sadly, the SRT6 I was chasing got gone today. A Non-Running 115k Mile GG SRT6 was snagged for 4000. I am a huge fan of the Crossfires but I don't miss the crayon smell from the headliner!
100K mile SRT for $2000 is ridiculous. I actually have had the impression that prices for SRTs have gone up recently. I see lots of the. For sale with fairly low to mid range mileage from 20K upwards.

I remember a few years ago a friend of mine was looking for a car for his son who had just had his driver's license for two years and turned 19. He had looked at a 2007 Scion XD for $6,500. I told him about the Crossfire and he went to look and found one with 72,000 miles for $6,000 in great shape. Now, that's a few years ago but if I was 19 and I'd have to pick between those two cars, it would be an easy easy choice lol.
