While you have the trim off, you may want to replace the 2-sided tape that attaches the the trim to the clips. Although my 2008 Crossfire has been garaged at home and at the office the past 13 years and is seldom driven in the rain, one clip had completely separated from one of the trim pieces and the tape on several others were about 50% attached. I used 2” wide 3M VHB Heavy Duty 5952 automotive tape that you can get through Amazon to reattach them. I also needed to reattach the rubber weather-strip to the top trim piece since roughly 25% of it had come loose. I used some weatherstripping glue to reattach it that I got at Advance Auto.
That sounds like a good reason to inspect the attachment points frequently to prevent loss of a $200 to $350 used item. Thanks, I always thought that as mine had not been removed they were on as solid as the rock of Gibraltar.
