The forum usually advises to do it (then you'll have no problems if done correctly). I've never seen a post after someone successfully does the sticky key fix, have a problem afterwards. Many many have done it DIY, a few had a level of difficulty usually associated with a procedural or communicative difference. Also, it may have already been done if it was owned by a prior forum member. Best to download the 'sticky key' fix (latest one) from the document collection and read it about 3 or so times. Those that had no issues doing it indicated it was super easy if following the tutorial carefully. Good luck in your XF find!
